Colibrí Origins is a functional nutrition brand from Peru, born from the meeting of two unique ecosystems on the planet: the Andes and the Amazon. Every formula we develop starts from ingredients with a name of their own, documented origin, and a real story behind them — from maca grown above 3,800 meters of altitude, to camu camu that grows in the flood-prone areas of the Amazon rainforest.

With an international calling from day one, we build this brand step by step: first validating it in Peru, then bringing Peruvian biodiversity to the rest of the world, always with the same demand for quality, traceability, and respect for the origin.

At Colibrí Origins, we understand functional nutrition from Peru as the meeting point between two ancient agricultural traditions and the rigor of modern food science. Before any ingredient becomes part of a formula, it goes through a careful selection process: verifying its origin, understanding its growing conditions, and confirming that it meets the quality standards we've set for our brand.

Our intention is to work hand in hand with cooperatives and producers from different regions of Peru, building direct, long-term relationships instead of relying on anonymous intermediaries. This model of direct connection with the source is, for us, the only way to guarantee real traceability — knowing exactly where each ingredient comes from and under what conditions it was grown.

The Andes offer us high-altitude ingredients, cultivated for generations under demanding climate conditions; the Peruvian Amazon contributes fruits, roots and seeds unique to one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet. Bringing both worlds together under a single brand is our way of showing the natural richness Peru has to offer the rest of the world, beyond the superfoods already widely known.

Colibrí Origins began as a family project, driven by the conviction that Peruvian biodiversity deserves to be told — and consumed — with the same authenticity with which it is grown. Every decision we make, from which ingredient to include to which producer to work with, responds to that same standard of quality and honesty.
